Special Interests
I feel very lucky to be a physician and to be able to help people with some of the most difficult problems in their lives. I love rheumatology specifically because it is challenging in that it involves treating diseases that are quite variable and difficult to diagnose, but it has a lot of therapies that are quite effective. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to watch someone get well once they receive the correct diagnosis and get the therapy they need. I also love how I get to build lasting relationships with my patients, and get to help them manage their disease throughout the various stages in their lives.
